She has founded multiple ventures and is known for building strong relationships across business, government, academia, and regional development, especially in work connecting South Carolina, the South-East U.S. and the Netherlands. Her work is grounded in systems thinking, human behavior, and the belief that better outcomes begin with clearer thinking, stronger relationships, and conditions that support sound decisions.
Why The Pink Tulip
The tulip isn’t just a flower. It’s a Dutch masterclass in strategic, regenerative growth. Every year, 6.5 billion tulip bulbs disappear underground in the Netherlands, quietly building strength in darkness. They are not idle. They know what comes next.
The tulip is a reminder that meaningful growth depends on conditions, not force.
Before anything is visible above ground, the ecosystem has to be assembled correctly. Soil, timing, climate, and spacing determine whether growth will take hold or fail. In greenfield environments, this work happens early and largely out of sight, long before outcomes can be measured.
WIJS works in the same way.
Like the tulip bulb, this work is about preparation and placement. Strength is built below the surface through alignment, trust, and shared orientation. When conditions are right, growth is not forced. It emerges naturally and holds over time.
The tulip represents this development done well: patient, structured, and grounded in the understanding that lasting outcomes are the result of coherent systems, not isolated effort. And that is the work of WIJS.
